UPDATE:   15 October 2003

Sharm el Sheik, Egypt...

GUEST REPORTER: Amy Szabados... a Hungarian-Canadian who went to university in Vienna and Toronto before making her home in Budapest.

My boyfriend, Andris, and I went to the southern tip of the Sinai Penninsula, to a town called Sharm el Sheikh. Its really a cheezy resort town, but for a quick one  week relaxing holiday it was perfect!

The first photo was take at a coffee shop where we were served hibiscus tea and smoked apple leaves (tobacco) from a water pipe!

The second photo was taken after hiking for nearly 2 and 1/4 hours up Mt. Sinai - starting at St. Katherine's Monastery (where the people impatiently awaited Moses' return), ending at the peak (where Moses received the 10 commandments!).

Needless to say, it was amazing!!!!!!
